LondonCrimeWorks provide an authentic voice for crime writing for the Capital, something which I think the city deserves. Our first title, by Ben Gaunt, is South of the River: Running on Empty, a contemporary fast-paced urban crime thriller with a touch of dark humour.

The book should be of interest to all crime fiction lovers, especially south Londoners as the story narrative is set in Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth. The characters and situations are as diverse as the cultures that create contemporary south London street-life - the habits, customs and language, spoken and unspoken.
